One of the activities tourists prefer is horse-riding. Various tours, varying the time they take, all of them prepared for the tourist to enjoy and to know Villa La Angostura, in contact with nature. Among them you can find tours to Cerro Belvedere, the Cerro Belvedere and Inacayal slopes, Cajón Negro, Cerro Inacayal and others.


Amazing places to walk within forests, streams and lakes. There are many circuits to choose according to fitness levels. It is advisable to hire a specialized mountain guide if you plan to make a long trekking with greater difficulty. They will organize the tours according to your preferences and possibilities in diverse and wonderful places of the lake region. The best time to practice this activity is from mid-November to mid-April.


From November to May, Villa La Angostura welcomes fishing, an activity that has attracted more and more fans and followers as years go by. Trolling, spinning and fly-casting are allowed. Brazo Machete, Brazo Rincón and Ultima Esperanza are the most recommended places. It is necessary to have a fishing-license for this activity, issued by Parques Nacionales.


This is a pure Myrtle forest, an amazing species in one of the only forests still existing in the world. Due to its natural exceptional characteristics, and in order to ensure maximum protection and avoid any possibility of destruction or alteration, it was declared a National Park in 1971, although it is within the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Anyway, they are part of the same administrative and management unit.
By lake you can get there through the Nahuel Huapi lake up to Puerto Arrayanes. Every day there are boats called “catamaranes” that leave from Puerto La Angostura. By land, a few meters from Puerto Angostura, there is a pedestrian path of some 12km that you can take to walk up to the Arrayanes Forest.


Cerro Bayo is located some 9km from Villa La Angostura in the Neuquen Province and at only 6km from the National Route 231, known as the Lakes Route. It is one of the most important winter resorts of Neuquen, where adventure is joined to a unique landscape. The center offers all services together with the warmth that is a distinctive mark from Cerro Bayo.
